Yours looks great.  I tried this, but I painted my canvas first and I think that prevented my colors from sticking well.  They dripped just fine,but then the wax would crack and the crayons were coming up at the top. I ended up throwing it away...

This is all over the internet right now, I stumbled upon it last week.  I need to make one and get my kid's art teacher interested too!  I had to laugh about the crayons blowing on your dresser, though Smiley I bet you couldn't believe that!  Just use your blow dryer and when it starts to melt, wipe it up with a paper towel, this is what I had to do when my son bumped my scentsy wax and it sprayed my wall!

Also- you can iron paper towel over it and the wax will soak into the towels Smiley
