I found a wonderful use for the journal I got from Kartiana. A DREAM JOURNAL. I have them every night and they're so vivid but I don't want to forget so I'm putting my most important dreams in the journal for later use. And now I don't haev to worry about mucking up the lovely pages with nothing important or depressing things. LOVE IT!!! THANK YOU Reinikka!!!!
She should be getting her journal tomorrow  Undecided

That's an awesome idea!

I'm really looking forward to getting the journal soon  Smiley It is going to come at a very good time for me and will help brighten things up. So don't worry about it being late! It's gonna be right on time for when I will need a pick-me-up  Smiley

Hey everyone! I finally have some photos to show you. My computer has been throwing temper tantrums lately and believes it doesn't have the hardware to connect to the internet. :/ It's working right now so hopefully it will last long enough to post *crosses fingers*

RougeRaven sent me a beautiful journal. I think this binding method it called longstitch and is made sturdy with some leather strips.

We agreed to do some pages together. I love them. The first is my favorite of the two. I have to check out the band in the second. Cheesy

There are beautiful pages throughout the journal like lace that sprayed over and flaps to add interest to my spreads.

There is an envelope in the inside of the back cover which is a must with my journals.

She also sent lots of paper goodies including some pages from a medical text book like a chart of the lymph nodes. *geeks out* THANKS ROUGERAVEN! I hope the picture dump makes up for my absence Smiley

Gorgeous RougeRaven!
I love the city image - I'd totally tear that out and frame it. Smiley

I'm glad you like it Raerae!

Zoma- that image is an as for a cd out of a skate boarding magazine ^^'

StickerChic- It's a very simple binding method, it is a long stitch with exposed tapes. You should give it a shot!

I received from fabricfriend a while ago and it's been raining cats and dogs here since then. Today's the first day it ISN'T raining so I took the opportunity to take some pics of my wonderful journal she made for me!

The journal cover and a close up of the beautiful paper.

The inside cover. She said she is new to the art of binding but she did a FABULOUS job on this binding!

My theme was travel. Lots of room to write about my adventures.

Some details. I don't want to hog the thread, but I love these pages!

This might be my favorite page! I love the texture. I have no idea what it is though.

Thanks for swapping with me! I love my book and I had a lot of fun making yours!
