I am so excited! The tracking number said this wasnt supposed to come until Wednesday, so you can imagine my surprise when it came today!!! Anyways, this one is from miknessevie, and she did a great job! I put that what I would love the most is a journal full of random stuff! She nailed it. There is art off of my pinterest, fun bits and bobs, great painted pages, etc. I absolutely LOVE it!

Cover:

Binding! Love it! She said she made the black drop bead and the leaf bead-how awesome is that!?!?

Right off my Pinterest!

Cute! Love the color!

I love apples! AND HANDMADE PAPER!!! There are a few pages of it throughout the book!

This is so fun!

There is some torn calender pages and random buttons throughout as well!

SO CUTE!

This page is so cool with the sand painted in:

Some fun tree art:

Love the stripes with splatters:

Some extras- I love paper punchouts, and look at those little beads!! A penguin, bumblebee, and a monkey! So cute!

And, there is no way she could have known this, but I have absolutely been dying for some of these!! I eyeball them every time I go to the craft store. Yeah, Prismacolor pencils!! I cant wait to give them a try!!

Thank you so much Jen, I love my journal!!!!!! Cheesy

My package from Raerae came Friday but I was gone for the weekend. I love it!

The cover is made out of an old pair of jeans. It's so soft and the pocket is perfect for holding my pen.

Some of my favorite pages:

A sugar skull on my "please return is found" page. It looks like a crayon tranfer?

Raerae and I agreed to complete a spread in each other's journal. Hers reminds me of the cosmos, some far away galaxy.

Tape and gesso, awesome 3d texture, those bumps each have a dip in the middle, like craters.

Skulls! I think she drew them all?

There are so many more amazing pages! Thanks Raerae!

All the journals in the gallery are amazing!!

RougeRaven, I'm glad you love your journal! The sugar skull is a technique I found will surfing the net but can't remember where now. You draw your image with crayon. After that you paint over the drawing with black acrylic paint and let is dry completely. Once it's dry you scrap off the paint with a craft knife to reveal the image. I did draw all the skulls. Smiley

I think skull backgrounds and galaxies are going to be my "thing" because I love the end results of both. The picture in the gallery of the painting is better than any of the ones I managed to get. I tried to capture all the shimmer but couldn't.

I've been promising to take pictures of my wonderful journal and haven't delivered. Boo on me. I have been carrying it around in my purse and really treasuring it. Will take pics soon and post them when I am back home. My dad's house has great lighting so I will have to take advantage of that.
