We had this ugly as hell matress-footstool-thingy (does that make sense?) and our three cats did terrible things to its cover. (In the pic is one of the suspects, Mato.) You can see the vomit-like colour and texture from the 80's. *shivers*

But, becaude it's a must-have at our place (spare bed u know) I decided that I won't throw it out the balcony. So, it waited like 6 months naked on our floor, collected a huge amount of cathair every week and I lost my sanity vacuuming-cleaning it. I almost gave up. Then I realized, it needs a cover that doesn't collect all the cathair from entire apartment and is cool-looking too. And the result is;

Faux leather! This is soooo easy to clean, I don't have to vacuum-clean it, just wipe it with a cleaningcloth! I added a metal-zipper so it can be easily removed when we need the sparebed. Smiley

Thanks for looking, c&c are welcome!
And sorry again about the bad grammar...

That old fabric just looks irresistible to cats. I bet it made a really good scratching post  Wink. The new cover looks great and adding the zipper was genius.

The early bird may get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese. . . . I would rather have cheese.
