I received from scarlet_nights!  She claimed me for vintage buttons and a surprise!

The lovely stash of buttons!

and my surprise!  A lovely set of chainmaille earrings!  They match a pendant PFD made me in a previous round and I love them!

Thanks so much!! Smiley

Looking for a vintage magazine (1974 - 1978) that has a fabric nativity set w/ people and animals. An example: http://www.craftster.org/pictures/showphoto.php?photo=440861&ppuser=143144.

I met the mail lady at the mailbox today as we were out in the garden getting it ready for fall. She had my package from Averia. I am so excited it came so fast here are all of my goodies.

Here is everything together. She sent me 2 mug rugs. The one on the left has cows and pigs. The cows have really cute names under them it's adorable. The other one is a gorgeous teal/turquoise and brown fabrics. Those are some of my favorite colors. My wedding was supposed to be brown and turquoise but my hubby vetoed brown for black. The chocolate in the middle is suspiciously thin. The kids and I ate it before it ever made it into the house. Averia wrote with Avocados on it. However my children can't read and it didn't work. DH wasn't home so I couldn't test the theory on him!

A close up of the adorable fabric!

Look how neat her corners are. Averia you will have to teach me how to do that!

Thank you sooo much this package is sooooo wonderful. I have been waiting to get claimed for something sewn. I loveeeee it.

I am so glad you like them and they got to you quickly! I was awfully worried that the first time I lost the receipt from shipping would be the first package to go missing completely. I'm glad you like it - I actually ended up making 3 because the binding on the first didn't work well enough to send. I had packaged binding and I tried to machine stitch it on. It looked awful! After searching for a tutorial for tiny thin bindings, I went with http://verykerryberry.blogspot.com/2011/01/single-binding-tutorial.html for the second and third. It was very easy to follow.

I received my learn-to -knit-socks kit from whats_her_name and I love it. I immediately started trying and already made a cuff and heel flap  Grin (and I only re-learned how to knit about 2 weeks ago), yay!

There's very pretty sock yarn and some pieces so I can make socks in different colours, circular needles in 2 sizes, tapestry needles and a booklet (sorry, this one is not in the pic!) with a selection of patterns.
Thanks for a great package!

That is great learn to knit socks kit.  You'll have to post your finished socks.

-Currently crafting.....A Weasley blanket.  I'd love some squares made from fellow Craftsters.
