I received yesterday from missmoppet! She sent me a fox hoop and some tropical LifeSavers (which include a pineapple flavor - yum!)

I love how you also wrapped the hoop in red. Very neat and I hadn't seen that before. Thank you! Now I just need to find a place on my ever-growing art wall next to my computer. Wink

I'm glad it arrived and that you like it!  It was fun to make -- cutting into the embroidery piece was a bit nerve-wracking.  Someone from OWS sent it to me (I wish I could remember who -- if any of you sent me a piece of vintage embroidery, here is what I did with it!!!).

I can understand how nerve wracking it was.  I've been asked to cut my best friends mother's lace wedding dress up and make hankies for the bride and wedding party out of it.  Making that first cut into a wedding dress that is over 60 years old almost make me sick.  I'm still not enjoying that project one little bit.

I showed the pin cushion to my mother.  She is nice, but she is the queen of the back handed compliment so I don't show her many things I make or receive.  She had only good things to say about it and just kept picking it up and complimenting it.

before my own wedding i swore that i would cut up my dress after to make baby blankets, etc.  5 years later it's still untouched!

i hope to do something fabulous with my grandma's wedding dress, but she was 98 lbs on her wedding day - there's not a whole lot of dress to work with!

I'm glad you like your package kartiana.   The red fabric is a wrinkled scrap, but I noticed you had red fabric on your supply list so I threw it in just in case you could use it.
