Here's another pendant I made the day before yesterday. It really is addictive and once I start one I cannot stop until it's finished! This one is blue goldstone and it has far more sparkles than the picture will capture. Every time you move it just glitters. It's entrancing! Shocked

YAY! Someone to drool over goldstone with! Haha! This is the first piece of goldstone I have seen in person and I swear I stared at it for at least 5 minutes before I decided that was enough, I can wrap it now!  Cheesy
And thank you! I'l be listing it on my Etsy in the next day or two. Every time I make something I get attached to I have to wear it a bit so I can let it go. I know I sound crazy, but they are all like my little babies.  Smiley

Nicely done.  I love the contrast of the curving overlay of the wire to the geometric shaping of the stone.

That is a lovely piece of jewellery.  The wire wrapping complements the beautiful stone and the sparkly ribbon reflects the stone's sparkles so well, even in a photograph.

This is breathtaking. It simply exudes elegance.

May I ask where you learned your wire wrapping techniques? Is there a particular book or website you would recommend?

Thank you so much, guys!

I actually initially started out with wire by watching Youtube videos. I watched some CamilleSharon and AuntiesBeads and that helped me out a lot with the basics. When I felt ready to (try to) wrap cabs I came across these tutes:

I hope that helped! I would love to see what you come up with if you try it out!

How incredibly helpful!

Thanks so much for posting the links to the tutorials.

I am going to give this a whirl! I tried once with marbles and copper wire, and it turned out all right, but I'd like to move forward and try it with the good stuff (e.g., goldstone and silver).

Thanks again for posting those helpful links.
