That looks amazing! I never would have known that the quilt was made with bird fabrics without the close up. It's beautiful!

It took me about two weeks to sew the blocks together, and then I left them up on my design wall for about 6 months tweaking the colours and blocks.  Then I sewed the rows together, and added the border and that took about a week.  The quilting took me three evenings, and then the binding took maybe an evening and a half.

This quilt is fantastic! I've seen books on this technique before and always thought the effect was great but I just love the bird fabric that you chose!
