My little girl turned three this past week and we had an little pool party.  We invited 6 of her friends to the town pool where they enjoyed swimming, pizza and ice cream.
I wanted to do something special for the kids and came up with this:

I think they all loved them as well as the jump rope I tied them with!
Thanks for looking!

They are very cute. I love that you tied them with skipping ropes.

A very clever idea!!  Great party favor, and the jump rope idea is brilliant!  I appliqued bath towels and washcloths for gifts for my niece and nephew when they were little - they're in their early 40s now.  You did a great job on these girl towels.  Cheesy

Thank you everyone!  The kids and parents really loved them.  So much more useful then the typical goody bags.....It was a bit time consuming, but I spent less than $30 on the project and used up some scrap fabric I had lying around.

Thanks for the inspiration. My daughter turns four soon and I was thinking of the girls making tutus and I might make them personalized fairy wands!

Wishing we were having a pool party now!!

Congratulations, NicoleMarie!  These towels came out so cute, and they were such a great idea for really personalizing a pool party.  You rock!
