I'm in the planning stages of a poppet for dd, it is based off this Lisa Frank rainbow angel kitty: http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_vymXi-I0GFI/S-2b6BT8wXI/AAAAAAAAAFU/TJUbSn7Tt2k/s1600/angel_kitty003.jpg

I can't seem to find any multi-colored yarn that's quite right for the hair.  I found some rick rack that's perfect color-wise and was wondering if anyone's successfully used it for hair, or any suggestions.  If that won't work I may end up braiding embroidery floss.

Hi, I haven't use the rick rack for hair, but it should be fine. The yarn you could use different yarn colors, pick 4 or 5 individuals yarns & put them together & maybe some of that eyelash or feathery novelty yarns. That would look pretty.
