Modge Podged Pet Tag

I have been taking care of a stray cat that started coming around a few months ago. I want to get him fixed, but he hasn't been around consistently enough that I'd be sure he was here on the day of his appointment. I decided to try putting a collar on him with a bell, hoping that the less prey he could catch outside, the more he'd come home to get a meal. He tolerated the collar very well, and then I thought that I should put an ID tag on him just in case something bad happened to him, like he got hit by a car or something...at least if someone else found him, they could contact me and let me know.

I live out in the country so there aren't much options out here for buying tags. I couldn't find anything locally, and I didn't want to wait for one ordered online. What I ended up doing was taking an old rabies tag off of my dogs collar. I then got some patterned scrapbook paper, and just printed out the cat's name and our contact info. I traced out a rough shape of the tag around the print, centered it and modge podged it onto the old tag. Then I just trimmed off the excess paper, and gave it 2 more coats of modge podge on the outside to seal it all up.
