Badger bride and groom!

These are a wedding present for my best friend Kathryn who I have known since primary school, she is getting married tomorrow (I'm maid of honor ^_^) to a lovely guy called Nick and I wish them all the best.
Badgers have been a bit of a running gag with us for a long time, I forget why!





I took my inspiration for the badger pattern from a pattern sold by Limecat Crafts on Etsy although the pattern doesn't seem to be available anymore, it was good but not quite the size I wanted so I increased the increases and rounds, as well as tweaking the head to make it larger for the groom and smaller for the bride.
The flower pattern came from here http://mycrochetstuff.blogspot.com/2008/05/little-flowers-with-leaves-free-crochet.html and the veil and top-hat I made up as I went along!

I absolutely love bride/groom matching set figures, and that they're badgers just makes this even more amazing. I also am totally jealous that you could just make up the top hat and veil as you went along and have them turn out so well.
