A couple more rugs

 Our house is only carpeted in the bedrooms, otherwise its hardwood or tile. That's fine for us, but our dog on the other hand spins out on the slick floors all the time. Usually its just kind of amusing, but on occasion she slips and hurts herself. Never anything serious, but still, I don't want my little girl laid up so I've been making rugs. I made this one a few weeks ago http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=386277.msg4569034#msg4569034 and made this first one the same way:



This second one I totally winged. I had to trim around the edges of the bottom piece to make it match because the patch work somehow wanted to get wider as I went along. I'm looking forward to seeing how this looks after a few washings, I left the edges free so they would fray. :

I don't usually like denim patchwork, but I'm really a fan of that rug.

Wow, good job.  I would LOVE to have rugs in my place.  But my oldest dog (15yrs old) pees on them.

I like them both!  I also like that you left the pieces of the denim patchwork rug different sizes.
