these are so beautiful and very inspiring.  henna is such a great art for women to share with each other (or men).  i have always felt a sisterly bond with people during this process.

is beautiful! did u add something to henna or only watter? i add sugar, lemon and oil but i heard from indian people they only add watter, but also i think their henna is not exactly the same we find in occident.. even they have a such beautiful dark red henna..

I use a premade paste I buy from an Indian market.  From the ingredients listed, the only additives are lemon juice and water.  It doesn't smell like anything other than that was added, and I've never had anyone have an adverse reaction to it, so I'm sure that's all that's in it.  Smiley
