I made my son a vest for a wedding we went to this past weekend. I'm pretty happy with how it came out considering my first attempt was WAY too big and I had to re-sew my side seams and create a seam down the back to get rid of the excess width. In the final product you can see the re-sewn seams on the inside of the vest (not my nice, neat lining!), but only I knew about that!



And here's a dancing action shot from later in the night. He was the life of the party, lol. Though he usually is.

The pattern is from here, it is 2-6 I think.  You just need to sign up.  there are no instructions tho, it is just a pattern, but shirts aren't that hard to put together.   I use picmonkey.com for the collage.

Obviously I didn't get around to making the shirt last weekend, but I'll post pics when I do! I might have some questions when it comes to the collar, though...I've never done that assembly before.

As there were no instructions and I have never used that collar facing thingy bit (don't even know where it is) i just sewed the collar on the regular way (from the back, and then fold the front under and sew it down)
