It turned out so cute!

I am crossing my fingers that my niece's baby is a boy, but if not, I just found out 4 of my friends are going to be grandmothers to boys!!!

I think I will start with onesies?

Everything posted so far is great! I really have to make some booties for my little one.
I just finished resizing some pictures that I'm going to post tonight.

@alwaysinmyroom: do you think of decorating onsies or do you want to sew them from scratch?

Here are some patterns if you go for sewing:

I have some more patterns bookmarked but those are the ones in English.

Awesome hoodies and backpacks, silk81!  Your sewing skills rock.

I made my son some PJ pants:

He doesn't want to wear them, though.  And I think I need to work on stretching the elastic as I'm sewing because they really don't have that much stretch.  I have some flannel bug fabric that I'm going to use to make another pair, so hopefully I fair better with the elastic.  Anyone have any tips for elastic waist bands that I might be missing?

He's so cute, carmenmarie!  lol...I thought he had a pretzel, but a stick is even better!

Oh, and the shorts are pretty awesome, too!

I like using really stretchy pajama elastic...it is really soft...I also like making the elastic loose, then inserting a drawstring as well to make it tighter if needed...kids seem to prefer really loose, comfy clothing..also, for kids, make the pocket for the elastic fatter...the skinny waists dig into their baby fat while the fatter waistband seems to sit on top better...does that make sense?

silk81--those links are great!  I have some onsies I purchased but I also have some cute knits that I want to make them...I just downloaded a free embroidery pattern from Urban Threads that would be perfect...it has a little monster inside a box!

ha ha perfect for little boys...
