Yay!  More people to play!

I love those board shorts.  I want to make some pants for fall, but I have trouble with the elastic waists...the elastic always flips over in the casing.  Am I not making it a tight enough fit?  Does that make sense?

I dug up three more shirts to re-try the 90-min shirt with.  Hoping to revamp the pattern and play around this weekend!  We are supposed to get tons of rain from Hurricane Irene, which means I'll be glued to my sewing machine (hopefully)!

90-min shirt #2:

I think this one would have actually taken me 90 minutes if I didn't sew the second sleeve on inside out, haha.  I think I like this pattern better.  I'll know for sure when DJ lets me put the shirt on him.

And just for fun, the little guy wanted to help, so I let him sew some scraps together.  He just goes backwards because the reverse button is on the front of my machine, haha.

He's always gotta do what Mommy and Daddy are doing!

Nice shirt! I love how you match the trimmings to the tie-dye colors! And cute little helper!

I had to realize that hot weather, a huge pregnant belly and chasing after a toddler don't go to well with sewing in those few minutes I have to myself. Usually sewing is a relaxing activity but right now it's getting exhausting. With the baby constantly kicking my ribs it's hard to find a comfortable spot behind the sewing machine. I still tried to work off my to do list last week but after I nearly collapsed in the grocery store I realized that I had to stop.

And being reluctantly modeled:

This one is a gift.  I have plans for at least 3 more!  Super fun and easy!!

That hat is great and the picture of your little one is cute!

I finally finished my first 90 minutes shirt and I try to post some pictures as soon as possible. It definitely took way longer than 90 minutes but it was a lot of fun to make.

I have started sewing for my little guy (8 months) after years of sewing for a girl.  I will post some of the things I have made, shorts at the moment, and some little shoes.  Love little boys <3

I love this ukulele fabric.  The other is jungle animals

And a pair of pants with jungle animal cuffs and an applique t shirt.  I didn't sew the shirt...knit fabric is not my friend!

Love the shoes!!  Those are the best kind for tiny feet.  I wish I had made some for DJ when he was small enough for them!

I just found another hat pattern via pinterest (http://www.gwennypenny.com/2011/11/adjustable-fleece-hat-tutorial.html) that I am going to make for a friend's son, so should be posting that soon.  Xmas is interfering with my boy clothes sewing!
