My Seven Virtues:

Charity from Lionne. I never thought to use quotes before a previous card I received in the ongoing swap. I am so glad people are branching out with clever ideas.

Gozer did a great take on one of the virtues - can you guess which one? So true but it also makes me smile at the interpretation. I totally think of Robin Hood Men in Tights for this theme.

Diligence from aada. I am debating hanging this one at work. I love the stamping effect and the time it must have taken to repeat the work hard again and again.

Temperance from redstar13. Also a new idea for a virtue - just the definition. I love that these are all so different.

Brackish Potato depicted kindness. The card just makes this virtue look so happy and wonderful. Full of butterflies and joy!

The virtues to live by:

Seven Natural Wonders. I think I secretly hope to visit these someday.

Paricutin from Lionne. Look at the great background on the card. I so can't wait to get more.

From goatgoddess. She used the awesome transfer/material technique that she showed a link to in one of the posts. Really really cool to see up close. It looks like a photograph and a painting at once. I really need to try this out!

Rio from MichellesCraftBaske t. A great collage effect unlike any of my other cards.

Victoria Falls from redstar13. This must be so beautiful! I enjoyed the piece of trivia with the "Smoke that Thunders" name.

All of my sweet cards!

Seven Man-made Wonders:

From MichellesCraftBaske t. Apparently this card was quite the challenge. I wonder what her other attempts were because this one is beautiful. The greenery is 3d so if you run your hands along it, you can actually feel the gardens. Love it! The Garden of Babylon.

Lighthouse from jillybeans. I love the drawing of the building and the architecture idea.

Zeus at Olympia from jillybeans. The gold detailing really makes this card! History does not say exactly what happened to this statue, but you do have to wonder how something so prominent and large disappears. Although it looks pretty valuable so I am sure it was carried away like many valuable artifacts in history.

Colossus from Brackish Potato. I can't help but think of the stone foot in the tv show Lost. Haha. Yes, I think of that. The stamping detail is great!

All of the wonders I will never get to visit:

The 7 Deadly Sins:

From MichellesCraftBaske t. Simple, yet effective. And not always a sin I would argue! Hehe. I have glitter everywhere!

The sins to watch out for:

Thank you! I just need one or two more to complete my themes. Woohoo! I need to frame them as well. I think they will make some great conversation pieces.

I'm glad you like it CuriousCoffee!  Here is a right-side and upclose pic of the ATC.  ^_^

The picture was originally black and white.  I added watercolors to fill in and black and green chalk to distress the egdges.

Thanks, gozer!  This theme was the only one I was really struggling on.  I wasn't really sure what I was going to do, since I have nonexistent drawing skills.  Then I found that picture of two guys fighting in my Sherlock Holmes books and I knew I could alter it.

That man is totally not going to make it out alive!
Oh for sure!  He dropped his only means of defense, a gun, which got cropped off the bottom of the picture.  Not that a gun would be too effective.  He needs a chainsaw.
