I got two ATC's today from our organizer, jmiller614!
First, for my kitchen theme: "I is for ice". The ice cubes are covered with a shiny, glassy substance which gives a very cool effect irl.

Next is one for my Christmas Countdown, number 14. The text reads: "Poinsettias represent over 85% of potted plant sales during the holiday season."

Thanks, jmiller! They're great!

Love those ice cubes and Poinsettia. Is that tin foil for the pot of the plant? Really well done!

Yep, tinfoil. I feel like the planters always come wrapped up in shiny foil. Really sort of an odd holiday tradition...

For me, Christmas is all about the shiny and glitter and bright colors. Kinda tacky, I guess, if it wasn't CHRISTMAS! Cheesy I love the texture on these cards.

I love the cards in this gallery!

The use of tinfoil is very "christmassy" to me! also, the flowers are nicely done!

Advent ATC's---great idea as well...

I know that there is an advent calendar swap going down--I bet this is one idea someone will want to use!

Gozer--your drawings are wonderful--I love the carollers...

Prepare to be jealous!  I got the most amazing start to my Harry Potter ABC collection today!

From jmiller614:

Amazing?!  I got D for Dementors and U for Unbreakable Vow!  Awesome choices, jmiller!  I friggin' love 'em!

9/7/11 - from Mintdawn:

C for the Crucio Curse.  She did a awesome job on this!  Thank you, mintdawn!

9/10/11 - from CuriousCoffee

Look how lovely!  She did that Gringotts crest by hand.  So much drawing and wonderful detail.  I want to peel off the giant G and just stare at it.  I will control myself, though.  ^_^  Then over the crest, she painted a shimmery gold.  So pretty!  Its perfect!

9/12/11
A personal swap from gozer:

K is for Kreacher, a hand drawn and shaded beauty!  Just, wow, gozer!  That's all I can say.  The background is watercolor and the writing is silver.  Ooooo!

From Mod35TBabe:

I is for Incendio!  FIIIIIRRRREEE!!!!  The I is raised up too, and the writing is silver.  So cool!

From goatgoddess:

A is for Azkaban!  Ok, goatgoddess, your technique is soooo cool!  The ATC is on some sort of padded canvas, it feel like a real piece of art.  Its beautifully distressed.  I keep grabbing it and holding it close to my face for further inspection, there is just so much to look at.  I'm curious as to how you did the Azkaban at the bottom.

9/15/11 - From MichellesCraftBaske t

F is for Firebolt!  And here is the coolest firebolt replica on the card!  My husband and I both ooooed and aaaahhed as we pulled it out of the envelope.  The love the gradient background, too.  So cool!

And we did a personal swap and she sent an extra!

A birthday surprise (my birthday was 9/1) and a sparklie cupcake.  I'm pretty sure it has real sprinkles on it, too.  Its coated with something shiny.  I love the backgrounds on both cards, so fun!  Thanks, Michelle!

B is for Butterbeer!  Mmmmm!

E is for Expelliarmus!

I love them both!  Thanks, Brackish!

9/25/11

J is for James Potter and H is for Harry Potter!  YAY! My collection is really coming along!

My theme was "cute food".

My ATC from jmiller614:

Awwwww, they're looking at me! Seems to me like they're a bit shy. But sooo cuuute!
Thank you!
I wouldn't have mind if you had made a cupcake card, because I love them, but these are way too cute.
I'll try to get a better pic. It didn't work well today.

It is such a relief to have cards arrive safely. I hate the thought of them being lost.

On a side note, really impressed that my card made it to Germany in only 6 days. It takes longer to send to my family in Maine...
