I love this idea.  One year on another swap site, we did a Christmas ornament swap with a Halloween touch.  I made a Haunted House ornament decorated with Christmas lights and made a werewolf with reindeer antlers and a red nose.  I loved that swap!

I love it!!!! Well it definitely looks like this swap idea has enough interest. I'll start putting together a swap profile for it. I think I'll set up send out time as early/mid-november. Give everyone time to finish crafting for Halloween but not impede too much on Christmas crafting.

If you could spread the word to other craftsters who might have interest that'd be fantastic Wink

Count me in!!! My most precious xmas ornament is a set of jack skellington character baubles.
Just dont get too fussy on the requirements, i have bad feedback until i can manage to wipe it off through angeling, but i have yet to nail an angeling i am able to do!

Due to several family and swap commitments I have for the rest of August, Sign-up and Crafting time won't start until sometime in September. This also allows for the craft stores to get in more Halloween supplies and I know they'll probably start with Christmas soon too.

****UPDATE***
Due to several family and swap commitments I have for the rest of August and beginning of September, Sign-up and Crafting time won't start until sometime in mid/late September. This also allows for the craft stores to get in more Halloween supplies and I know they'll probably start with Christmas soon too.

I'm thinking of setting a lengthy craft time since Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas crafting are all relatively close together. So send-outs will probably be around Halloween, beginning of November.

Given this time frame please let me know what size swap everyone would be interested in, 3-5 points I'm thinking would cover a few ornaments, a stocking, a tree skirt, etc. If this is too big, please let me know, I want everyone to be able to enjoy this swap and not feel hurried!

Reminder of point sizes:
Large-3 points: 3 hours or more; $30 or more in supply value, shawl, shirt, project tote, apron, set of pillowcases, set of tea towels, large stuffie

Medium-2 points: 2 hours but no more than 3 hours to complete, $15-$30 in supply value, necklace, belt, bracelet, scarf, deluxe pincushion

Small-1 point: at least 1 hour but no more than 2 hours to complete, $5-$15 in supply value, pouch, stickers, earrings, bookmark

I was hoping for a little bit later send out date. I go crazy once halloween stuff starts going on clearance. Either way I'm good. I can't wait for this swap.

That's totally doable, none of this is set in stone yet Wink. I know I don't wanna go past thanksgiving for sendouts. I've been thinking since my last post a later send out would be better since there will be more Christmas craft stuff in stores for altering.

WOULD IT BE EASIER/PREFERENTIAL TO EVERYONE IF I MOVED THE PROPOSED TIMELINE TO SIGNUPS BEGINNING OF OCTOBER, CRAFT TIME OCT/NOV, SEND OUT A WEEK OR SO BEFORE THANKSGIVING?Huh?

I dont mind at all, in the UK we dont get any clearances!!! But that means if we are stuck we can get a lot of inspiration! However, id much rather have an earlier sign on date, just so we know what to look for when stuff is being sold at the shops (and the sales!)
-Also i just remembered im on hols last week of october/first of nov so it may even mean i would have to pull out depending on the size..........
