It's the amazing Spider-Man! 2633 stitches on 18-count black aida. I used four different shades of red, and 2 different greys.

BUT WAIT, THERE IS MORE!

The eyes and backstitching are done using Glow-In-The-Dark thread.

This is what it looks like when it's completely dark.

The Back

Unfortunately, it only glows like this for a few seconds before it starts to fade. You can still see it after that, but it's not as cool Wink

I wanted to make another Marvel hero after doing Iron Man in the same style. I've posted pictures of it before in a swap gallery, and you can find them in my Flickr xSTITCH set.

For fun Wink

Guardie for life.

I am really interested in doing a personal swap, especially for greener things like reusable lady items, wool dryer balls, or other such things.  I can knit, sew, draw, and put things together in pretty neat ways.  Please PM me if you're interested.

Wow, what a great idea! It's stunning! This already made me think where else the glow-in-the-dark effect could be used...

So well done, and so beautiful. The glow in the dark is such a great bonus, too.

Too cool.

And as for the glowy effect, that can augmented by a little black light.
