(I know, aren't you excited to see a post that's not about Chicago?  Nothing against Chicago, it is useful, but it gets lonely when all the post are about the north.)

Anyway!  We are starting a crafty group here in C-U.  Is is looking like our first get-together will be July 9 in Champaign.  We have about 20 people involved so far and we are all interested in different things so it should be very diverse and interesting.

We have started a yahoo group:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/CU_craftgroup/

If you wanna join the fun, please email me with your craftster ID, email, and such so I can add you to our database.  And do join the yahoogroup.

I think we basically all about casual get-togethers, sharing craft experiences and learning new crafts through one another.  I thought the area needed a general craft group and it turns out a lot of other people thought so too!
