Happy weekend everyone! Just checking in to let you know I'm still here, crafting away! It's turning out really cute, I may have to make another for myself when I'm finished......

BAHAHAHAHAHAH!  Oh my!  Well I would have to reciprocate to keep with in the craftster rules, and then there would be absolutely no chance of finding a job LOL...but if I ever win the lotto.......But at this rate of stuffiness I might need to open a Tiny Stuffie Museum.  At the mo, I just have them scattered about the room.  How are other folks displaying their tiny stuffies?

My Dapper little Cthulhu sits on the base of the lamp next to the bed. The others are spread about the room on shelves and things. But after the move next month they're gonna have much better posts.

Between work, babysitting, and teething son I got stuff cut out and am in the process of embellishing! I'm so excited and REALLY hope this works the way my brain sees it. *shuffles feet a little*  Grin

It always looks so awesome in your head doesn't it? And sometimes you try to make what your head says looks cool and it looks horrible! Wink
heheh My hands don't often listen to what my head is saying too.  I just try and think of it as the 2nd (or third or fourth..) cousin to the original idea.  And besides, all stuffies need lovin, especially if they aren't "perfect" Grin
(I formed that idea when I was quite young.  It's all Ernie and Bert's fault.  Anyone remember the Martian squeezy toy incident?  Bert didn't like it because it was odd, so Ernie felt sorry for it?  The story of my life Grin)

To all past swap partners....If something I made you fell apart in some way, it would be helpful to me if you PMed me and told me about it.  Sometimes, I try new things, and if they fail, it helps me to know

my stuffies are all on shelves in my room. I basically have a wall of shelves that hold all my books, movies, stuffies and my exotic turtle collection (turtle statues and other turtle things from all the places I have been to and all made out of all different sorts of materials. I have everything from shell to leaves to clay to different woods).

I am glad Cthulhu went to a good home! Cheesy My stuffie collection is HUGE from being addicted to swapping (especially with AmyDice and Lanikins) so I have them all over my house. I have them mostly in my studio on top of my cabinet connected to the desk. I have some in the living room but I try to limit them there and add my husband's more manly (more like geeky) interests there to be fair. But yeah, they are pretty much in every crevice in my house.

When I was a kid, I would pick out the deformed stuffed animals because I worried nobody would love them and I gave them extra care too. Cheesy

In other news, I think I picked out what I am making finally. Yay!

I have two completed mini stuffies and a third waiting to be turned.

I can't decide which one to send, although I know one's staying here because my DH has adopted him because he looks like Truman Capote.  He even made me make it a hat.

Anyway. . .off to find my turning tools...
