Inspired by all the awesome felt books on Craftster, I wanted to make a felt book of colors for our new baby, with rhyming couplets. I asked for my husband's input, and suddenly it had to have a medieval theme Wink So, we put our heads together and came up with this:

I wasn't up to sewing tiny felt details, so I took the lazy way out and used fabric pastels on white fabric, and sewed it onto felt pages.
We finished it right before her birth, and she's four months old now. No word yet on whether or not she likes it :p

What a wonderful treasure for your daughter to have! My only suggestion is to add the year or date that you made it.

Oh my goodness!! First of all, I love her name! Meridian! The book is beautiful. Yall are gonna be such fun parents, I love it! And yeah, try to add the date.
