This is the Nancy Drew sleuth bags that I make.
http://www.etsy.com/transaction/50113944

so much fun hearing all the excitement. So sorry I have to sit this one out. Too much to do this month (two Nancy Drew Bags and some zippered pouches for my niece's Sweet 16 - they're her goody "bags"). Plus my little boy starts 1st grade in a week. I volunteer at two PTAs during the day so my sewing is limited to after I put him to bed at night. But I will definitely make myself one, I haven't done something for me personally in awhile. Have fun ladies!!!
Be sure to put anything you make on the board...for purses, pouches...and give us the link so we can see! What is a nancy drew BAG? Sounds fun. TWO ptas? I hope you leave some time for crafting and swapping during the school year. Wow, first grade! It goes too fast from here Undecided

Hey, apron lovers--check this out!  On the website Craft Daily, there is a post where someone made a "scissor case" that unrolls to form an apron--and it looks a LOT like our aprons!  Here it is:

http://blog.craftzine.com/archive/2011/09/how-to_travel_scissor_case.html

This really is a fantastic idea!  Now I see that I can fill up my apron pockets with stuff I'm taking somewhere--quilt guild meeting, craft group get-together--and roll it up and tie it.  Everything stays together, and then I untie, unroll, and wear.  So handy!  Everyone will be jealous of me!

Totally looks like the ones we made!
Meanwhile my sister is in LOVE with the one I made her for her birthday. She says she wears it all the time and it has been crazy-handy with all that pocket room nice and up front!
