It's a lovely, thoughtful, creative gift and I'm sorry that the bride to be was too hammered to understand the significance of your gift while she was smashed.

I'm saving this for a friend who is planning of getting married soon. I know that they aren't planning any children (health reasons) but the sentiment is still the same.

Your research as well as finding her such a perfect vintage hankie was amazing and I hope that some day she can fully appreciate the work you put into this.

Thanks. I've given up caring what the bride thinks becasue I've come to find out that she's just a generally ungreatful person, but I know that other people appriciated it and now I have a new gift idea for the future, so its not a total loss.

When you make yours for your friend you could totally just drop the second half of the poem about it turning into a baby bonnet or there's a bunch of websites that have poems for when you give a wedding hanky that you could use.
