Hi everyone!

I've been crocheting for about a year now. And I have been following this forum a bit. But, I haven't posted anything yet.. so I guess i have some catching up to do

Let me just start with the last little guy I made:

Yeah, I think I will make a few different versions. Maybe one with a little flower bud, and one with a leaf or something.

You've brought up some sad memories, being unable to find one of my pikmin before nightfall and seeing it gobbled up, discovering which pikmin couldn't swim and being unable to rescue them before their little ghosties came up..Lmao I loved that game soooo much. Think I may have to make a couple of these!

I join previous posters in wishing for a small army of them now. <3  I always liked the leaf ones too, their lil leaves all wiggly as they ran. Man, now I want to dust off my game to play..

Almost done with mine. I couldn't resist making one; it's so cute! I'm just confused by the stalk and the arms. I made the arms but they don't look very arm-y? They look like little mishapen blobs of yarn.  I haven't done the stalk yet because I have to get some wire, but I have no idea what I'm supposed to do when the instructions say to wrap the wire up the yarn.

Oh my goodness, this is the sweetest little thing!  I hope you don't mind if I take inspiration and I make a little army of my own.  I couldn't get through the game, it was too sad when they died....   I'll just try to work out how you did it.  Looks like the arms and antennae are just crocheted tightly in the round with a very very small hook.
