At the request of a friend who wanted to have something unique to give to her man for fathers day, I created a zombie homer simpson sculpture for her. She was overjoyed with it as was the gifted and to be honest I was pretty proud of him myself. Ended up having to make a tiny base for him out of scrap clay so that he could stand on his own though. Thinking next time, I may embed some sort of weights in him to get him to stand up since he was a little top heavy. Anyway, he features spilled guts, exposed brain cavity (note that Homer may not actually have brains hints the reason I said "cavity"), random blood spatters, a gnawed off lower arm and a brain do-nut!

Anyway, would love to hear and comments or critiques on him!

Thanks for looking. Dont forget to tell me what you think!

The only critique I could give is VERY small. We know Homer is really smart but a crayon stuck up his nose and lodged in his brain causes him to be dumb. Would have loved to see the crayon sticking out of the brain in his hand. Either way, its awesome!

lol, practice makes perfect! Trust me I used to suck when I started with clay and it is all about practicing and understanding shapes and how to manipulate them.

That would have been clever but the brain donut in his hand is actually someone elses as whatever zombies attacked and turned him, ate his brain. ^_^

This is too awesome! Did you use only clay or did you do it another way so not to use a ton of clay?

It's strictly clay. But I built it in pieces, adding on so as not to hinder the strength of the clay.

Teehee! Thanks so much! I am thrilled that everyone seems to approve!
