I use it to paint beads for necklaces and such--so pretty!

You could also use it to pain other small objects like buttons or other embellishments

I've started using nail polish as a paint more than on my nails. And using colors and the crackle finish that would never go on my nails.  I've used it on paper, wood, plastic. Marbling with it is a lot of fun too!

I found a tutorial on YouTube. Basically, you drop nail polish onto a bowl of water, alternating colors. The polish should float on top of the water once you figure out the right amount and height. You then alternate different colors of polish and drag a tooth pick though the polish to make the marbling. Once that's done, you carefully dip in whatever object you want marbled.   Check out the videos cause it's a lot easier than thus makes it sound.

OH!  Most of the videos are for marbling nails, but the same technique works for other objects. I've dropped in small Inchies and loved the backgrounds I got

It's great for painting ceramic, mirror and glass for all sorts of crafts, from jewellery and magnets to pictures, frames and more!

I use clear nail polish to make small repairs when a figurine gets broken.  You have to let it dry a little and then prop it or hold it, but it holds pretty well.
