Currently how many WIP (works in progress) do you have going? Currently I have four cross stitch projects going and another two which I need to start. I thought this might also help keeping us motivated to get our projects done. Here are the pics of three of mine so far;

I have a swap piece going and then have to do an embroidery for a baby shower and a cross stitch for a wedding. Maybe soon I'll start my Christmas stitching.

I actually had two finishes recently, my first in a long time, and I'm really liking how it feels!  With the finishes on the baby bibs and the pincushion, I'm down to two:

That's close to finished.  I have a few plant stems, some flowers, and some bullion and French knots left, and then the finishing.

After these, I'd like to do one or two really small, high-reward projects for myself -- little things in colors I really like.  Then I may tackle a some kind of baby gift for a pregnant friend -- either a huck weaving blanket, or an embroidred stuffy or ball.  I'm also starting to learn about crazy quilting, with the idea of making myself an ocean-themed purse incorporating some great shells I found in Florida with holes pre-drilled by wave action!

I've always got between 3-6 projects going at once haha.
Right now I have a rose, a grim reaper, a sheet of tattoo flash and my piece for the feeling stitchy august stitch along going as well.

These look like great projects.  I'm a one project woman when it comes to embroidery.  I just keep plugging away until one gets done before I let myself start another.  Self-imposed torture.  I'm currently working on a Christmas present for my brother-in-law stitching words with all satin stitching, each letter takes me an hour.  I'd kind of like to put it aside and do a short and sweet project, but I'm afraid if I put it aside I'll never finish it.

yes that is one of the reasons why I used to just do one project at a time. However several people I know their people's are around the same time or other events, so that is why I had so many going on.
