i decided i needed a bag to tote around my gear for my polynesian class. i found the perfect sized zipper tote at ac moore, but it was plain and boring. what better way to spruce it up than some embroidery? i used the designs from the stitch it kit, and used fabric paint for my name. i considered stitching it, but i really suck at satin stitch, and it would have taken a TON of floss.

you have to forgive the rust spots, because there is an exposed pipe in my bedroom and it's rusting and i find random spots of rust on things. i have no idea how to get it off without ruining my bag. of course, part of the zipper is coming apart too, so maybe a new bag would be in order...

Whink is a product that removes rust and doesn't damage clothes or remove any colors - I love it - last time I purchased it was at one of the Walgreens stores. It's between $4.00 and $5.00 a bottle but it is so worth it - it even removes rust from denim and does not remove the denim color.  And it doesn't take much to be effective, so a bottle will last quite a while.  Cheesy

I thinks it's looking pretty. But it could have been much better and beautiful if it could be in any other color or designed fabric. Design and pattern is really nice.
