I made this shawl for my mom using Bernat Matrix ladder yarn.  I bought the yarn years ago and it's been sitting in my stash.  My mom started talking about a shawl that she wanted me to make, and when I whipped this stuff out she loved it.

It's the kind of yarn that looks like a different color depending on what you wear it with, so it's very lovely.

In terms of knitting, it took me longer than it should have.  I must have started the darn thing about a dozen times before I got used to working with the ladder yarn; I kept dropping stitches!  When I finally did get the hang of it, it turned out beautifully.

The only thing I don't like is how the seam shows up so much in the photo - you really don't get your eye drawn to it in real life the way you do in the photo...

Thanks for looking!  C&C welcome.
