I'm living in my own little sick twisted fairytale

Recently, my mom ordered a drop spindle and started spinning yarn. She has gotten so good at it, and I'm proud of her (: It's because of her that I got interested in spinning too.
Recently my mom showed me an article about Neauveau Fiber Arts (http://www.facebook.com/neauveau). There's a store in Massachusetts selling some of her yarn. I went and looked at it, and was inspired.
I had 30 some-odd seashells and some hemp..

Which had gotten a little tangled...
I also had yarn in various shades of blue and sea foam green..

Tada! Cheesy

I had some clear seed beeds that I tied into some blue embroidery floss and spun into it. I combed out some pieces of white yarn so there could be some sort of fluff to be like foam on the waves.
There's about 20ft of it...I know, not a lot. But oh well.
I have no idea what to do with it. Any suggestions?

Well, aside from sending it directly to me because it is gorgeous  Grin you could use it as an embellishment in an embroidery project, on a purse, jacket etc. by couching it down onto fabric with stab stitches. Well, that's what I'm going to do with it when you send it to me at least  Wink.

Oh, it's gorgeous!!  if you weave, you can use it as an accent stripe in a bag or scarf.  I do like teachart's idea of couching it down onto fabric for an accent piece (or you could felt it down depending on what you're putting it onto)

Thank you for the ideas and the compliments! Cheesy
@teachart; I'd love to send it to you, because I have no idea what to make with it. Howeverrrr...my mommy is encouraging me to try to sell the things I make. So part of me just wants to give it to you, but the other part of me is hesitating...
Maybe we could trade? Cheesy

Super cool!!

I would be tempted to just wear it as-is as a necklace.

That is stunning! I think you could wear it as jewelry, too.

I agree with the necklace idea! I'm sure people would ask you where you "got it"....a good way to get people interested in your products. Smiley Smiley
