Awww, hon!  I'm glad you're okay!  Acetone is a lifesaver, hahaha.  I suspect the blood, sweat, and tears may be literal for the both of us...

made my small this evening, but ruined my manicure in the process Sad I think it's worth it - I'm pleased with how it looks right now so I just have to hope I feel the same once it's dry and I'm less sleep deprived  Grin

I also have a question about points / sizes I'm hoping one (or more...) of the more experianced swappers can help me with; I've seen different ways to guesstimate the 'value' of your craft (by size, by time or by cost) but what if your item doesn't fit the same value for all three ways to measure. So, if it's a medium size but took 4/5 hours to make and cost 13 in supplies? how would you class that?
Also, judging by time how do you measure - everyone crafts at different speeds so do you judge by average speed or by your own speed? (hmm... does that even make sense?)
I've seen that there is a 'judge my points value' thread but I don't wanna post pictures in case my partner sees...

Vekiki - I judge it by time and effort, which includes money in the effort. For example, if I sketched something, patterned it, sewed it, and embellished it, but it all came from stash stuff, I'd still consider it a large because of the effort involved. A couple of shrinky dink keychains that I had to spend $10 on, but took me about a half hour of work, I would consider a small. Make sense?

I went to Michaels today but they didn't have several of the things I needed, and I was too hungry and irritable to spend the time to find if they had anything else I needed! So no supplies for me yet. :\ I'm hoping I can make it to Joann this weekend because I'm sure they will have what I want. Hopefully. >_<

As soon as I finish moving in by friday night, I'll have a nice weekend to jumpstart crafting and school. The craft store and the fabric store are within walking distance this year....... >.< But I'm so excited to get going on this!
