Hi!

So here's where I go on and on about how new I am to quilting (I tend to stay more in the yarn crafts) ad how I've done a few things and I have tons of quilting notions from my grandmother etc.  I'll spare you that and move onto more pressing matters.  Grin

I've been eyeing the gorgeous color wheel wall hanging in Last Minute Gifts (to the point where I've ordered the book and I'm itching to start). I was wondering how to go about enlarging it? Any tips or pointers? Has anyone done this before?  I'm looking to get it to at least a double if not a queen for a wedding present for my best friend.

Thank you so much! Cheesy

I'm fairly sure that is a quilt, rather than a wall hanging in her book.  I know some other people on craftster have done this as a quilt anyways.  Search the quilt boards and I'm sure you'll find them.  Smiley

Actually, just doing a "View Topics with Tags" search for "Color Wheel" gives you this:  http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?action=tags;sa=showtopics;tag=color_wheel

I reduced the pattern when I made one. The only problem I had was the center circles weren't accurate. I ended up appliquéing the ring onto a solid background. Could have been my math. Could ave been my cutting. The wheel went together just fine.

Hey guys! I got the book in and started picking out fabrics. While researching, I came up with a few ideas. I saw someone use blocks with the left over fabric to enlarge the quilt. I'm thinking that's what I'll end up doing. So far, it's a really easy pattern. LOVE the book as a new quilter. Cheesy
