I'm wanting to really get into screen printing (beyond the hobby phase), and I'm wondering if anyone has experience with good blank T's and where they get them from. I really prefer made in the USA, but American Apparel is so expensive and the sizes run so small! Also, they no longer participate in co-ops, so I don't see an easy way to get less than 400 of something at a decent price.

I've had Monag reccomended to me, they do have factories overseas but appear to have decent policies:

Dharma Trading Co. is made in the USA and their prices are decent, but if you want colors other than black or white you have to dye them yourself (they also sell the dye)! I'm curious as to how the color stands up and the quality of their products.

How important do you guys think made in the USA is to potential customers/gift recipients?

If anyone has any insight on this, I would so appreciate it!

I'm kind of in the same boat as you. Though they are expensive, my favorite tees are Alternative Apparel. They cost about $10 a piece for the ones I like, but I am figuring that into my end product's final price.

I'm also looking at https://www.royalapparel.net and "Bella" has some American made.  There is also Loomstate, but I am not sure yet what their wholesale prices are. They may be really out of my price range.
