I made this for some friends of mine who are getting married on Saturday (finished it in plenty of time Wink ). When I was thinking on what kind of quilt to make them, I figured that since one of them loves rainbows and the other loves fractals, why not try to make a rainbow fractal quilt? This isn't exactly a fractal, but I figure it's in the spirit of one.

I posted about this one a while back asking how to quilt it. I ended up just doing straight lines on the diagonal through every third or fourth row - very plain but just what I needed for my first ever machine quilt. Don't know if you can see that in this picture, but it gives you a closer view of the fabrics used.

That is really gorgeous! At first glance it looked like a Bargello  embroidery. What a lot of patience it must have taken to piece together!
