Hello all,

Since my family has nothing going on this weekend we decided that we were each going to be responsible for a movie night this weekend.

We have to provide a movie, a meal, a dessert/snack, and a drink that are all related in some way. For instance, if you were to do the movie "Cocktail" you could have any of the drinks that Tom Cruise made, bar nuts (or advil) for the snack, etc.

I drew Friday (this Friday...Ahhhh!) and I'm stuck on ideas. Here are the few that I've had:

"Feild of Dreams" or any other baseball movie that I can find by Friday with hot dogs, beer, and an assortment of baseball park snacks.

I've thought of maybe doing "The Wizard of Oz" and base my other items from the perspective of the Wicked Witch (though not as politically intense as Gregory Maguire). I could make Spaghetti, but call it "Boiled Scarecrow." But I'm not sure about the rest

Any ideas to build on mine or any original ideas that you might have would be greatly apprecatied!

I know this is past the party by a month, but I've done Eat-o-Vision parties a few times.  My first was Forrest Gump (as mentioned earlier), and I put my menu in the finished parties section here.  Then I did Elf for Christmas and that was fantastic.  I'd also suggest Ocean's 11, Napolean Dynamite, Chocolat, Goonies, Willy Wonka, and Julie & Julia (a little too adult maybe).

I love planning parties - come to me if you need any ideas!
