Button Purse!

I've never sewn a purse before, so of course I'd have to tackle a button purse as my first adventure!  My partner for the Make a Friend swap, thisbirdsabsurd, had one on her wist so I sourced a pattern, some fabric and a ton of buttons.  I originally had buttons on the bottom, too, but it weighed it down too much so ended up with buttons only on the sides.

The lining.  I had to think about this project a bit before starting it.  I knew I didn't want the buttons sewn through the lining.

[Sew Do Something]

By any chance is this the Two Hour Tulip pattern?  I bought the pattern a few weeks ago and haven't made one yet.

If it was, how was the construction?  Did you have any problems?  Suggestions or changes?

It sure is.     I didn't find anything I would do differently on my next one, so I'd say it's a pretty good pattern.  And was easy for a beginner to follow.
