I purchased the Nikki Tote Bag pattern from Paisley Pear Quilts several months ago.  I fell in love with the design of the bag the second I saw it.

I was so excited about this pattern and now that it's finished I'm even more in love with it!
Between the simple construction and well-written instructions, this bag is a win-win.  The hardest part of making this bag is taping the pattern pieces together and cutting the fabric.  If you like big bags, I would highly recommend this pattern.

I did alter the interior pockets by replacing the smaller pocket with a zippered one.

And it took me a few weeks to find the right buttons, but was able to score these handmade ones....

You can read my full review of the pattern along with tips and suggestions here: http://sewplicity.blogspot.com/2011/08/pattern-review-nikki-tote-bag.html

Thanks for looking!

I love the pattern, I really love the material, and those buttons are perfect.

I love nonsense - it wakes up the brain cells!

Thanks!  The fabric is from Ty Pennington's collection and I had the buttons made by a woman on Etsy. (Button Barn).
It's a fun bag!

Very pretty. It looks vintage. The 2 tones are great & the buttons just the right touch. Cheesy
