Ugh!  I have loved this bag forever, but it just seemed too large to actually be something I'd carry.  Now THIS one I'd use and LOVE!  Did you change needle size?  I'm definitely going to knit this now!  Thanks for sharing.  Grin

Thank you, everyone! I'm glad you like it. To answer the questions...

1. I used size 10 US needles, and

2. I don't really keep track of how long it takes me to knit things, since I usually have a few things going on at once and alternate between projects. Also, there are some times that I knit for a couple of hours a day, and some not at all :-)
