Fun Alphabet Letter Magnets

This idea has been bouncing around in my head for awhile.
I used to have a bunch of those plastic magnetic letters you could get in the dollar store but my ex roommates stole half of the letters, mostly the vowels of course.
So I made new magnet letters with a combination of homemade letters and some store bought letters for scrapbooks that were in the dollar bins. I also used plenty of little trinkets and scrapbooking paper
The letters are from my stash so some of them were missing their packaging but most of them are scrapbooking letters you can find at Michaels and A.C. Moore and some of the letters are from packaging I save because I'm a borderline hoarder
I cannot wait to spell curse words in fancy letters on my fridge at school because I'm obviously immature for my age

This is awesome! I used to love those stupid plastic letters as a kid.

As for being a border-line hoarder, I think you're pretty safe admitting that here. lol. I am also one of those people that saves random scraps of things if I think it looks cool. Tags off of jeans, boxes with cool designs, plastic bags or packaging to repackage things with, etc.

Plus it's almost more fun to know that it was "trash" after you've made something cool out of it.

Love this, I have plastic letters on our fridge and I'm 25...  Of course mostly they are used to spell things like "boner", so I would much rather class it up with fancy letters like yours! Awesome idea and great use of stash!

These are amazing! I'm making magnets for my fridge out of stuff I find all the time. It's more fun to have it be a magnet than just be magnetted.
Any tips or suggestions on how you made yours? I usually use the crappy rectangular magnets business hand out (especially dentist's offices... what's up with that?) and just glue the things down and then cut the excess magnet off. It works pretty well, but the magnets are crappy quality as it is, and when you decrease the size, they're pretty useless at hanging anything up. Yours look more 3D than that, like they're sticking out. What was you strategy? Better magnets?
