Made these for my sisters twin grand babies 1 year birthday.

They are glass on glass (GOG) mosaic names. Used stained glass on plain clear 1/4 thick glass, squiggles from dollar store, two hands (on Cannon) and one glass flower (Kendal).
They are 12x5 each.

Finished:

Cannon & Kendal-after by HRSG, on Flickr

And the cute little birthday babies!

Those are so pretty!  I love the squiggles every single time you use them, and this is a terrific application!  And the babies are too cute for words.

Awww! Thank you all!

The glass for the letters are those squiggles you get at the dollar stores.

Yes, the babies are quite adorable! They are walking now, and causing their mom and dad lots of trouble. Wink

These are great! I've seen those bags of glass pieces in the store and I never would have thought to use them this way! Brilliant!

Thank you, Mare! Smiley

Kendal is a real girly baby and needed a flower. So I had to give Cannon something, and he loves affection so in came the hands. Smiley

So pretty! I'm not familiar with Squiggles, though. Maybe my dollar store doesn't have them or maybe I've just overlooked them.

Thanks!  Smiley You find them in the same place as the flat backed marbles. Usually in a mesh type bag.

I've never heard of squigglies, either, but love the idea of using them to make letters! And such cute babies they're going to!
