I just made this diaper cake for my friend's baby shower.  It was so easy and reasonably priced (thanks to the dollar store and Costco for diapers).  The image is rather small... but it is 3 layers, with a letter M (for maddy!) and a puppy with a bottle brush under its head.

(my first post with a picture, can you tell?)

Hehehe. That "trick" is called direct-linking. Or at least, when you go and post it on your own site or another place it is called that. Direct linking is that annoying term people use and it eats bandwich. There's nothing wrong with using it to simply view a picture in a bigger window, but using that link in between HTML image codes isn't cool. lol. Just thought you'd like to know!

By the way, that "cake" idea is really cute! I'm sure it was appreciated!

I have "googled" diaper cakes and OMG! you should see what they are charging for them.  i guess if i was a far away aunt i might pay their price instead of creating, packing, and shipping one myself.  But who can't roll a bunch of diapers and get some cute stuff you'd probably buy for the new mom anyway.

Cheers!
