When I was finished Mr. Drowning said, "Well... I'm sure you'll get better with practice." But either way here is my first go with my drop spindle! I used some cheap craft store roving meant for needle felting because I was too afraid to touch the gorgeous superwash merino I bought with my drop spindle on etsy. We just moved into a new apartment and things have been so stressful I felt like doing something relaxing. I really love spinning! I think my main problem is that I try and move more quickly than I should, and also I have no idea what I'm really doing. Cheesy So hopefully my second attempt will look much better than this one, but without further ado, here is my first 14 (ish) yards of spun yarn! I think I'm going to knit a coaster for my desk with it.

yay! a newb spinner! I love it!

Also, I should have the next "learn to Spin" lesson up by the end of the week if I can get pics done.  That might help you a bit Smiley  But your hubby is right, practice makes perfect.
