Yea, he is a keeper. Grin He loves all the afghans I make so much he wont let me give any away, very soon we wont have a place to store them all.

I have looked in every possible spot for the yarn and it is just simply gone, I have a feeling it wasn't a full skein when I started the afghan, but where did such a small amount come from is my next dilemma??? LOL I just took a square to the store and matched the color, love Red Heart for that!

Here's my finished product!

The picture doesn't do it justice because my cell phone made the picture have a weird haze that sort of dulls the colors.  In my earlier post in the thread I posted a picture that depicts the colors really well! Vibrant and rich :0)

It's huge and beautiful! It'll make a great beach bag :0)

I used this tutorial for joining: http://www.wardi.dk/2009/06/granny-square-joining-tutorial.html
I like it although you do have to do some light blocking to get everything square at the end

BennuBird, I love that square that starts as a spiral and becomes a square, how on earth do you do that? i've tried to get that effect before but it's never worked out, it just looks chunky and square Sad
