Amazing cake! My sweetie and are are planning a day of the dead or Halloween wedding in 2006. We are thinking of giving sugar skulls for party favors. Really beautiful

My birthday is on Dia de los muertos, so I really wanted some aspect involved in the wedding. My dear sister got us these figures in Mexico and they hung out around our card box. She tried to find a bride with dark hair, but we had to be satisfied with a blonde skeleton. I wanted the pretty paper cut outs too, but was so busy making my tissue poms and paper flowers, I never got to them!! Love the look with all the sugar skulls. So pretty.

Oh my goodness! I have that exact cage I plan to use for card and notes!
I am undecided but I think I am going to paint it before hand.

I cheated and bought the papel picado.  Cheesy

We found an artist (CraftyChicaAZ's husband) who would customize our topper so our bride was a redhead like me.
