Although I was sure I could post pics, apparently I can't, so I've put a link at the bottom of the post to an embroidery Alot that I made :-)

I made this for a friend who was going through a rough patch.  LSG is a group on Ravelry that we're both part of :-)

The outlines and the writing are embroidered, but the colouring is done with wax crayon on cotton (my wrists are bad and I needed to finish it quickly!).

A friend of mine forwarded this to me because we are both crazy in love with Hyperbole and a Half.  I just joined craftster so I could tell you that these are amazing! Thanks for sharing.

I have actually been using this site to make some embroidery patterns from photos.  I got the code from a box of crayons.  It basically takes a photo and turns it into a coloring book. Perfect for embroidery Smiley  Bet you could do the same with any image.

A bone to the dog is not charity. Charity is the bone shared with the dog, when you are just as hungry as the dog.

PARP!

These are great! Are they for display, or will they be incorporated into pillows etc.?
