Jedi Minidress

Hey guys! Long time no see I know! I've been cray cray busy organising a month-long adventure on my blog called Star Wars Month! Hahah it is insane but it just started today and finally everything I've been preparing for the last couple of months is able to be shown of!



Anyway today's Star Wars themed craft is a Jedi Minidress! I wanted to make it so it was clearly a Jedi outfit but not that obvious that people thought it was a costume. I think I succeeded, my mum loves and thinks it is elegant 'if it was a bit longer' [Story of my life lol].

I used stretchknit and made the pattern from a minidress I already have [which is really just a longer long-sleeved shirt]. The colour of the dress I like to call "jedi beige". The brown was from a t-shirt my mother had donated to me to cut up.




I also made a short dressing gown from brown fleece as a Jedi robe It is SO WARM AND COMFY OMG



I lived in it when I first made it. Somehow it gave me superpowers I swear.

That is awesome! You definitely got the Jedi outfit without looking like a costume. I love it! The hood is pretty awesome too. (Love the boots to go with it too).

wow looooong time no post ! lol I love the whole idea of the star wars theme , the dress is so cute , and if people arent star wars fans I dont think they would ever know . its not costum-y at all they would just think its a really cute dress..
