Knitting in State College

i'm definitely interested in starting/joining/being involved with a knitting/crafting group in state college!
count me in too.

Yay! More interest! I'm so excited! So, I'm thinking maybe the next step is planning a meeting, yes? I'm thinking about locations, how does the Wegman's Cafe sound? I'm thinking reasonable parking and no worries about seating... But I'm definitely open to suggestions!
Then maybe we could pick a weeknight to meet... say Monday or Tuesday? Again, I'm totally open to suggestions. Sounds good/bad? Who's with me?

Having it somewhere on campus would be nice though for students who don't have cars, even though there's a bus service that goes out there (and is not always dependable).  I've had good experience with Irving's, especially the large downstairs area, for meeting.

That is true... I guess I'd assumed most people going wouldn't live on campus! My only problem is, parking downtown is such a hassel! I suppose I could take the bus... Good suggestion, definitely something to consider

Although I live 30 miles away, I'm interested in a knitting group in State College, or thereabouts too! I don't mind going downtown, on campus (if parking is available) or to the 'suburbs'.

Okay, I'm sort of bumping this thread. Working on my "branching out" has gotten me more antsy to find a knitting group. Perhaps I'll just pick a day of the week, time and place where I'll be knitting and (hopefully) we can get this circle going! 

Before I do that, though, anyone still interested?

There's a small group that's just starting - Thursday nights, 7:30 @ Panera.  Bring your needles & join us!

WhitePony, this is so weird! I was actually thinking today "Hmm.... when to do this knitting thing... Thursday sounds good... maybe 7ish... Now to pick a coffe place downtown..." I'm seriously weirded out. 

But that sounds great! I think I'll be showing up Thursday, hopefully I'll see some of you SC Crafsters there
